Like many supplements and lifestyle changes, CBD dosages are somewhat of an art, not a science. Here are the things we have discovered and steps we recommend taking when starting to take CBD.

Take CBD consistently and daily

Results will not occur immediately, but with consistency, most people will begin to feel the positive effects within a few days. Taking CBD helps you replenish an imbalanced and/or depleted Endocannabinoid system. Just like exercise or eating right, you will begin to feel better over time with consistency.

Choose a time of day

Depending on what you are using CBD for, choose a time of day and stick to it for a week before changing your dosage. If you are new to CBD, we recommend taking CBD in the morning with breakfast or at lunchtime. If that doesn’t help, try nighttime next.

Picking a Dosage

It is better to start with a smaller dosage initially and take that dosage for a week prior to increasing or decreasing it. The dosage depends on the weight and severity of your condition.


Picking a dosage is very individual and dependent on weight, condition, and your endocannabinoid system.  Because of this variability, we can only guide you in selecting a starting point, but you’ll need to adjust accordingly.  Talk to your doctor before taking CBD if you don’t feel comfortable.
